Privacy policy

1. What data we collect

• Your email and password (the password is stored hashed).
• Your name, if you provided one at sign-up.
• Lesson progress, completed courses and badges earned.
• For marketplace clients: email, name and phone number (WhatsApp), project description and budget.
• For marketplace participants: responses, messages in project discussions, deal records (amounts, statuses, ratings) and the data needed for the services contract and the performer's payout.
• Technical logs (IP address, user-agent) — used to protect against abuse.

2. What we use it for

So that you can use the platform: signing in, saving your progress, and sending activation and password-reset emails. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Services we rely on

We engage third-party service providers to operate the platform (data storage and authentication). Payments are processed by the acquiring bank — your card details never reach us. We share only the minimum those providers need to run the service. A list of providers is available on request.

4. Data on the project marketplace

Client and performer contact details are never published: they are revealed only to each other, and only after the deal's payment is confirmed. Student responses (name, certificates, pitch) are visible to the project's client; messages in the project discussion are visible to the client, responded students, and moderation. To conclude the services contract and make the payout we ask the performer for their full name, IIN and bank details — used solely for the contract and the transfer, never published on the platform.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or the deletion of your account at any time — email hello@bikz.dev. We respond within 14 days.
